Question 4

How to: Add examples to your portfolio

Accepted Answer

A strong portfolio helps you impress clients and win work. This is important for all roles, not just visual freelancers. It also helps musicians, marketers and developers to show what they can produce. This guide shows you how to add a project to your Twine portfolio.

Step 1: Go to your Portfolio Projects page

Click your profile picture in the top right corner and select Portfolio Projects. On the Portfolio Projects page, click New Project.

Step 2: Project details

From this point you will see several fields to complete:

Title - A name for your project, which will be visible to clients. For video work, this could be the title of the film. For a website design, it could be the brand name.

Project Media (optional) - Drop a file into the box or click browse to choose one from your computer. This is the lead file for your project and it shows at the top of the project page.

You can upload an image, video or audio file.
Files can be up to 10 GB.
If you would rather link to work hosted elsewhere, you can leave this empty and create a text-only project (see Step 5).

|| Note: You can only add one file per project.

Once your file has uploaded, you can use Replace file to swap it or Remove file to take it off.
