How to Add Embeds to a Project

See this article for details on how to add an embedded image/video to your portfolio description on Twine.

For all websites the link can be retrieved from the URL bar at the top of the browser OR here’s other ways to get the link from the respective service.

Once you have the link, simply copy this into your project description and click save. Once saved the link will embed and show the item directly on the page.

Youtube

On the Youtube Video click the ‘Share’ button then the ‘Copy’ button
Do not choose the ‘Embed’ option and use that code as it will not work

Vimeo

Click the ‘Share’ button found in the video description and click on the Link input box. This will select the text for you to then copy
Do not use the ‘Embed’ option’s code as it will not work

Soundcloud

You can either click the ‘Copy Link’ button found underneath the song

Or click the ‘Share’ button, click the input box with the link in it and copy it (NOTE we do not support shortened links so do not select the Shorten link option)
Do not choose the ‘Embed’ option and use that code as it will not work

Instagram

From the Mobile App you can click the paper aeroplane icon below the post and click ‘Copy Link’ at the bottom of the pop up

On the desktop site click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the post and click Copy Link from the options

Tiktok

Only tiktok links sourced from the Desktop website can be used - links retrieved from the app will not work.
