Step 1: Understanding your requirement

The first step to finding a freelancer (and ultimately having your job delivered) is developing an understanding of what it is that you need, and why you need it.

  • What do you want to achieve?

  • What kind of specialism do you need?

  • Is this a one-off job, or part of a larger project?

  • Do you have approval to hire for this job, and a budget in mind?

  • Do you have reference images / videos / links demonstrating styles you like?
