# Adding a Cover Image

A cover image (sometimes referred to as a banner) is an important visual of your profile that can show the potential client your character, skill or simply pique their interest.

### How to:

To upload a cover image, just click anywhere on the cover, select your image and upload.

### Tips:

The minimum user cover image resolution is 585 x 160 pixels. We recommend 1170 x 320 pixels.

We recommend uploading a dark / one-colour image rather than a light one to make your introduction text clear.

Your introduction text sits over the top of your cover image and is generated automatically from the first 100 characters in your bio.
